The Jeweled Fern specializes in creative and fantasy photography by capturing imaginative and artistic portraits. Unlike traditional portrait photography, this style often incorporates elements of fantasy, surrealism, or creative storytelling to produce unique and visually stunning images. By adding that special something to even traditional sessions each experience is unique. Each session includes Studio provided styling and wardrobe/props either as compliments to your own or can provide full wardrobe design.  Each session also includes variable backdrops and backgrounds both physical and digital as well has hand made sets! 

Yes! A good fantasy photographer understands the importance of making every client feel comfortable and confident. We have a variety of sizes to accommodate different body shapes and sizes. But we can not guarantee a specific piece is in every size. But here is also the extra cool part  if a style is not in studio with your size we will acquire and design a piece for you.
I can custom assemble or design an outfit tailored to fit you. This could involve modifying existing costumes, combining various elements to create a unique look, or even commissioning a custom piece specifically for your shoot. I also know how to do right on the body no sew options that can fit many body shapes and sizes! 

 1. For a standard fantasy session or theme- If we are just adjusting a piece just to accommodate size or shape and even if a small part of the wardrobe might need to be purchased there is no charge to client. However in an extenuating circumstance  where special equipment or an extreme modifier is desired a fee may be charged after discussion with client. 

2. If YOU are wanting a session that is a conceptual design where the entire wardrobe is created or modified or custom made for particularities that in itself is considered a Conceptual session than that has its own  Conceptual Session fee.  

3. Dream Big Sessions are ideas chosen by Jeweled Fern Studio and session fee includes all design. 

 Absolutely! If you already have a costume that will fit a theme background or specific pieces you’d like to wear, you’re welcome to bring them to the shoot.  This is considered a "Come Ready" choice for your session. We can also incorporate any in studio wardrobe/prop into the session most of the time for free or for a small wardrobe fee. 

 A photography session with  typically lasts around one hour, but may vary depending on the type of session, location, wardrobe/props and number of people involved. Expect to spend at least an hour for a short session to up to 4 for an expansive session. Remember to have time for your Lounge Experience! 

 Fantasy and creative portraits often involve professional post-production work. This can include retouching, color grading, and digital manipulation to add special effects, create composite images, or enhance the overall mood of the portrait. The editing process is where much of the fantasy and creativity comes to life.  Jeweled Fern's style is generally painterly or cinematic: however can vary on theme. 

Sure! Wings whether they be angelic, daemon, or fae are included in the Sapphire Session and can be added to any session for a small fee of $25-50.
